For me, the best part of traveling is the food! During my trip to Branson, Missouri that’s exactly what I did: EAT…ALot! I enjoyed many places from entertainment to meals, but one place that I wanted to share today is Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House. This place is known as the “home of the tossed rolls”. The reason for the nickname is simple, you’ll have rolls tossed at you while you’re waiting to be seated and quite possibly while you’re waiting for your food. This is surely a unique experience for anyone who’s visiting Branson, MO.
Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House Menu
While the menu offers something for everyone, you should try their catfish cooked to golden perfection or the steak that’s cooked to your preference. With numerous homemade side dishes to choose from, such as their coleslaw or sweet potatoes, you’ll surely leave here with a full belly. This is the perfect restaurant to enjoy after a day of exploring Branson. The hearty meals with homemade delicious sides will take you back to childhood when Grandma cooked up some full course meals.
Slip Back in Time with the Décor
If you love antiques, then you’ll surely be impressed with the décor at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House. The owners have their antiques on show for their customers to enjoy. Many of the findings that you’ll see on the walls were found in the Branson/Ozark area. This means you not only get to enjoy a hearty meal but learn a bit about the rich history of this area. The antiques are surely a great conversational piece while enjoying your steak or catfish meal.
A Restaurant with a Gift Shop
Once you’re done admiring the antiques and enjoying a full course meal at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House, you’ll want to check out the gift shop. This gift shop has a souvenir for everyone. This is a great way to end your visit to Branson, by picking up something to memorialize your amazing vacation in this friendly, welcoming town.
I highly recommend you dine out at Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House while in Branson. This is the best place to get a full course, hearty meal that’s homemade. The “home of the tossed rolls” is surely one of my favorite stops during my time in Branson. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the rolls just kept coming.
