The Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive provided me with a complimentary stay, but all thoughts and opinions are my own!
Living in central Florida, I’m just a stone’s throw from most of the things that make the state so famous. So is the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive. I was able to enjoy a couple of days there recently, and I can tell you that this hotel delivers comfort, style, and convenience in equal measure. Of course, Orlando has no shortage of hotels, so I’m going to give you a little peek into what makes the Wyndham so fantastic.

Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive
If you’re planning a trip to Orlando or the greater Orlando area, you can’t go wrong by making this hotel your home base. With its cozy, comfortable feel, modern amenities, and central location, you’ll find in any hotel chain, the Wyndham is all about location! Living not far from Orlando, I’ve stayed at my fair share of hotels for weekend staycations or to make visiting the parks more convenient, and my stay at the Wyndham was one great stay!
One of the things I love so much about this resort is the grounds. The resort is located near everything, but it’s laid out in such a way that it feels like it’s far away from everything. The grounds are beautifully manicured and situated so that walking them feels like walking through a tropical paradise rather than the heart of bustling Orlando. I’m a fan of that because it gives me a feel of getting away from it all even though I’m actually close to everything I could ever want to see in the area.

Location
Since we’re on the subject, let’s talk about the resort’s location. Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is within walking distance of Icon Park, which offers a wide variety of dining options, its famous 400-foot ferris wheel, which offers panoramic views of the area, live music, shopping, and more. It’s also a short distance from Disney, SeaWorld, Sea Life Orlando Aquarium, and the city’s other major attractions. This central location and access to the best of the best in Orlando make it the ideal hub for a getaway to the city.
Accommodations
The resort offers a variety of room options to choose from. From single rooms to suites, there’s something for everyone and every family. The most spacious option is the Executive Suite, offering a king-size bed, TV, private bathroom with jacuzzi, tub, stand-up shower, and private toilet area along with wonderful views. However, all rooms are comfortable and cozy, with lovely color and decor and all the comfort of home. They’re the kind of rooms that make it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploration.

Amenities
When it comes to amenities, Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive has you covered. The resort is pet-friendly, so all family members can enjoy the trip! It also offers two pools, a fitness center with sauna, a business center for working trips, free WiFi, and available early check-in. The free WiFi was a huge bonus for me because I’ve paid through the nose for WiFi at other hotels and resorts!

Dining
In addition to cozy rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fantastic location, the resort also has some of the best food you’ll find anywhere in Orlando. The nearby Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant offers a wide range of steak and seafood dishes. Offering delicious fine dining options without being pretentious. If you’re lounging at the pool, Gatorville Poolside Bar & Grill offers daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner with options like burgers, fries, and other Americana classics. Head to the Lobby Bar for their signature cocktails and craft beers along with a menu of delicious snacks. Finally, coffee lovers will enjoy Barista, which is located in the lobby area. It offers all kinds of coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and other small eats.

Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive – The Perfect Getaway
If you’re planning a trip to Orlando, put Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive at the top of your list. Its comfortable rooms, delicious dining options, top-tier amenities, and central location make it one of the best places to stay in the city. I should know, I’m a long-time local, and I’ve stayed in my share of hotels and resorts in the area! I can’t say enough good things about International Drive, and you’ll feel the same after you stay there.

The fact that it’s close to all the action but still feels like a tropical oasis is just the cherry on top. Definitely adding it to my must-visit list!
