Disclosure: This post is part of my all expense paid trip to DoubleTree by Hilton at Orlando Seaworld. However, all opinions are 100% mine.
DoubleTree by Hilton is a family and budget-friendly hotel (and PET-FRIENDLY!) that perfectly marries great pricing and a lot of comfort into one great package. As part of my trip to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel offers all the comfort I’ve come to expect from Hilton even though it’s at a budget price. I’m talking nice, comfortable rooms. There’s no weird bedding or funky wallpaper here, folks. No way!
DoubleTree by Hilton is the Perfect Place for an Orlando Vacation
Our experience started with their signature chocolate chip cookies! As we all know, any trip to Orlando requires a hotel that is located conveniently and DoubleTree has that down. It’s a contemporary resort close to theme park magic, located in the heart of Orlando, making it perfectly situated for any trip with kids or adult theme park lovers. At less than a mile away from SeaWorld and a short ride to all the other great theme parks in the area, DoubleTree by Hilton is primed location for any and all theme park fun you have on your agenda. The hotel even offers complimentary shuttle service to SeaWorld and Universal Studios and, for a small fee, shuttle transport to Disney World, as well.
In addition to being conveniently located, DoubleTree by Hilton has comfortable accommodations for relaxing at the end of a hard day of fun. Whether you stay in the 17-story main tower or in the garden area rooms, you will enjoy a spectacular view! Each room features a 42-inch HDTV, plush mattress, mini-fridge, and microwave, and it’s all very nice. You really would not think of it as a budget hotel at all. This hotel even has two swimming pools, a pool table, and tons of outdoor activities to enjoy like. For the fitness-minded, there’s a fitness center, as well. Heck, they even have a staff to help you with anything you need and a bar by the pool! As I said, it’s budget friendly, not budget feeling.
Rest and relax in a modern guest room with a choice of views! Either the courtyard, the pool, theme parks, or the city. In addition, rooms offer a 42-inch HDTV, plus s a variety of amenities and services, such as self-parking and wireless internet access included in the resort fee. Accommodations are available in the Tower and as deluxe and allergy friendly room types.
Rooms feature additional clearance so you can get around your room with ease. Roll-in showers or bathtubs with grab bars are available which is a great feature for us baby boomers! It allows us a more relaxing and worry-free visit. Also, for those with allergies, the hotel offers wellness focused, hypo-allergenic rooms which are 99.9% allergen free for sensitive travelers.
Outstanding location for a conference!
I was equally impressed with the hotel’s 100,000 square foot of flexible space and banquet facilities for indoor and outdoor events. As a blogger, I notice things like that. This is the kind of place that provides the perfect setting for a great conference venue for any sort of industry/business summit, meeting, special event, family vacations, romantic trips, weddings.
Groups will also enjoy the wide variety of attractions, dining and entertainment options that the Orlando area has to offer.
DoubleTree by Hilton Marries Budget and Posh Perfectly
I was thoroughly impressed with DoubleTree by Hilton. This hotel managed to combine affordability and comfort perfectly. It offers many of the amenities that you’d find at a higher priced hotel and it definitely has amenities that you WON’T find at most other budget-friendly hotels. If you’re planning a trip to Orlando, I highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton. It’s the perfect place to get 4-star treatment at a 2-star price.
So if you are thinking of visiting Orlando, I highly recommend this 28-acre resort, the DoubleTree by Hilton at Seaworld Orlando is a great option! They even offer complimentary shuttle service to SeaWorld and Universal Studios and, for a small fee, shuttle transport to Disney World, as well.
Fun fact: Florida and Georgia’s residents save up to 12% on stays in the Sunshine State!
