Branson IMAX Entertainment Center offers so much and more! Gotta love Branson, Missouri! You’ve read all my travel experiences and I know you cannot get enough just like me right? Travel. Food. Repeat! Christmas in November was spectacular in Branson. Visiting for the second time was even better! As part of the 15 Bloggers visiting Branson, Missouri, we received an invite to Branson IMAX Entertainment Center, Montana Mike’s, and McFarlains.
FOOD at Montana Mike’s
We started our day with lunch at Montana Mike’s, next door to the Titanic Museum! A Montana-inspired steakhouse restaurant born in Oklahoma in 1998 and now currently in 8 states. They offer quality steak cuts complemented by choices of chicken, ribs, seafood and handcrafted pasta! it’s the perfect place to share good times, lively conversation and great friends.
Did you know they made their very own hamburger buns? There’s nothing like freshly baked bread! They have fabulous onion rings. I highly recommend them! If you are not a steak person, no problem here. They also serve chicken, seafood, and pasta. The homemade Apple Crisp dessert was amazing!
There is more to the Branson IMAX than movies
It was raining cats, dogs and bunnies the day we visited Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex; talk about the perfect day where everything we needed under one roof! The complex is filled with so many great shops, IMAX and the Elite Cinema III theaters and McFarlain’s Restaurant, so nicely decorated for Christmas. The IMAX is the way to watch movies, wow! The latest IMAX technology and for one of IMAX’s largest screens. We got to watch the movie Rocky Mountain Express and a preview explaining how movies started out. The sound was out of this world! I must admit, at times I had to close my eyes not to get dizzy, as it felt I was riding the train
After the Rocky Mountain Express movie, we spent some time at the kiosk and stores at the entertainment complex. So many great gifts to take back home! Lunchtime quickly kicked in and we headed to McFarlain’s Family Restaurant! The first time I visited I loved it, but this time around it was even better. It’s not your regular restaurant.
They feature the most hearty, cooked-to-order breakfasts possibly even Branson’s Best Country Breakfast, plus lunch and dinner entrees ranging from homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and their own special slow-cooked pot roast‚ liver and onions, chicken and steak AND their famous Fried Green Tomatoes and Cinnamon Rolls. Talk about a delicious pot roast, atop good old white bread, topped with gravy and a side of luscious creamy mashed potatoes.
On your visit to Branson, why not stop by this fabulous place and hang out for some unique fun!
