The Baldknobbers show is a must-see! There is so much entertainment in Branson. It seems like everywhere you turn there’s another instrumental and vocal show to attend. There’s a reason for this famous entertainment industry in Branson, Missouri, and it all started with the famous Baldknobbers. The Mabe brothers got together in 1959 and started a tradition that changed entertainment in the Ozarks forever.
The Mabe Brothers
As the Mabe brothers ventured into the entertainment industry, they wanted to pick a name that stood out. The Baldknobbers made sense as it refers to the popular group of vigilantes that are historically popular since the 1880s. These vigilantes called “The Bald Knobbers” used to meet on the treeless tops of the Ozark Hills. It was interesting to have our guides teach us some Branson history while we enjoyed the entertaining Baldknobbers.
Entertaining Since 1959
The Baldknobbers have been entertaining the tourists and residents of the Ozarks since 1959 and now share the entertainment industry with other talented families in the area. The Baldknobbers have the same love and passion for family, God, and country, which is clearly shown in the Famous Branson’s Baldknobbers Show.
The Baldknobbers is now in its third generation of Mabe family members performing on a regular basis. This third generation of Mabe’s has figured out a way to combine the country music of today with the legendary country songs of the past. It’s truly a sight to witness and you’ll find yourself with your feet stomping in the seats. The music compels you to get moving, and it’s such a wonderfully put-together show. I’m impressed that the Mabe’s have been able to continuously entertain tourists like me who venture to Branson for vacation.
The Famous Baldknobbers Show is a Must See
This is a great family show! It is a fun comedy, with great singers, and an awesome band! The Mabe family is so down-to-earth and friendly, but that wasn’t surprising being that it’s the way folks are in Branson. This number 1 voted top band in Branson is surely worth attending when you head to Branson for your next family vacation. Definitely a must-see!
