Super Bowl party prep is one of the most important steps to having a great big game get-together. All your friends and family will probably be there, waiting to cheer on their team, and you want it to be an exciting time with plenty of food and lots of fun. The best way to ensure that your Super Bowl party is one for the books is by making sure the house is clean and that you have everything you need when your friends and family arrive for the big game.
Super Bowl Party Prep Tips
It doesn’t take a ton of effort to ensure that you have a great party. It’s mostly a matter of having all your ducks in a row. As with any big get-together, people will be powering through the food and drinks, and there will probably be a bit of a mess afterward, so you want to ensure that you have all the necessary items to keep your family and friends full and happy and be able to get all your cleanup done when the festivities are over.
Aside from the game itself, the most important part of a Super Bowl party is the food. The Super Bowl is essentially two and a half hours of yelling, jumping around, and eating, so be sure you have all the food you think you’ll need and then some for your guests.
Stock Up on Cleaning Supplies
After the party is over, you’ll probably have some mess to clean up. Between the food and the constant foot traffic, there’s no telling what you might need to clean, so make sure you have plenty of supplies on hand for post-party cleanup as well as spot cleaning during the party. I always make sure I have plenty of Bounty on hand to wipe up messes quickly when they happen and Mr. Clean MagicErasers for post-party cleanup. They both work exceptionally well and make clean up so much easier. And for any spills on clothing, I always make sure I have Tide so I can get out those stains.
Get Your Grooming Products
Whether you’re hosting a party or heading out for the night, you want to look and feel your best. It’s important to make sure you and your husband and kids have all the great-smelling grooming products you all need to look and smell great during your big game fun.
I cannot stress this one enough. Always have plenty of toilet paper if you’re hosting a Super Bowl party. There will be tons of people in your home, which means tons of bathroom breaks. I keep Charmin fully stocked up when I know I’m having company over because it works so well and it’s super soft, which I love. No sandpaper TP, please!

The paper towels and laundry supplies will come in handy. Those grease stains will be everywhere during the game.
