I love theme parks, but sometimes, I just don’t want to battle the crazy masses! I’ll share some St. Augustine staycation ideas here for visitors. Locals can start with this list of freebies for locals.

Staycation in Your Hometown for Some Backyard Fun

A vacation doesn’t always mean a plane ride or a road trip. Sometimes it’s nice to just stay close to home. It reduces stress and cost, and it’s a great way to discover everything your community and the surrounding area has to offer. I listed some of my favorite staycation destinations in my home town of Orlando, and all it takes to find these places is a quick Google search.

You can do the same thing with your hometown area. So when vacation time rolls around. Fire up Google and make your next family trip a staycation extravaganza. It’s fun!
