For our road trip to Atlantic City drove in style on a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander GT S-AWC. As I’ve probably mentioned more times than you can count by now, my daughter, Marilu is headed off to NYU this fall. We recently took a trip to NYC and killed 2 birds with one stone! We attend two blogging conferences plus visited NYU and checked the campus and dorms, in preparation for Marilu’s new journey. It’s a fantastic car.

Apart from the conferences we had time to tour the city thanks to our Mitsubishi Outlander and were part of the audience of  ABC’s “The View”. The Mitsubishi Outlander was so super fantastic, that we took a detour to Atlantic City, New Jersey. By the end of the trip, I was completely in love with the Mitsubishi Outlander.

The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander – Sophisticated Style

Riding the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander, was an absolute blast. The ride was smooth, the air was cold, the radio was rocking, and the interior was super comfy. We had a ton of room for our luggage, and the gas mileage wasn’t too shabby either!

In addition to that, the styling of the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander is fantastic. It has a look that speaks of tough ruggedness with the smooth sophisticated lines that give it a sort of dangerously sleek beauty that I think is fantastic.

One of the best parts of the Outlander is its handling. Long trips make for close calls, and I was happy to be behind the wheel of a vehicle that was big enough to store all of our travel gear, small enough to be agile on the road, and responsive enough to make me feel safe should any dangers present themselves. I like that combination because I’m always nervous when I find myself in a convoy of big rigs (even though we own a rig!). The adaptive cruise control was a nice perk, as well, considering how long the trip was.

In addition to handling on the road, it’s got a sweet stereo setup as well, so we could blast the tunes on our trip. The Rockford Fosgate audio had more equalization options than we even knew what to do with! After a few minutes, we had a sound that we like for listening to our favorite music right off of our iPods.

While we were in NYC, Marilu and I had lunch with my friend  Maria of Tough Cookie Mommy at City Island, in the Bronx. She brought along both of her children, as well. Guess what? We all fit into the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander with ease, and we still had room for most of our luggage. This vehicle has serious space.

Another great feature of the Mitsubishi Outlander’s size is the ability to park. Let me tell you, New York City is no place for a giant car. People park close. REALLY close, and that’s when you can find parking. With the Outlander, I didn’t have to worry about which spaces I could park in. The Outlander fit perfectly in all of them!
