Anaheim Marriott is a great hotel option to stay when visiting Disneyland. I recently stayed there while attending at the D23 Expo, and I loved every second of it. With an inviting, posh feel and in close proximity to Disneyland, Anaheim Marriott makes the perfect hub for any vacation to the area. The comfy rooms were a big plus for me because the Expo was a whirlwind and totally exhausting. Being able to relax at the end of the day and just let the stress of the hours on my feet wash away, was a wonderful way to end my hectic schedule for both days of the expo.
All the Bells and Whistles
At just 2 blocks away from Disneyland, I was able to sleep in and then walk over to the park for the Expo, which was so nice. It saves having to drive and find parking at the park. It’s two blocks, even little ones can make that trip in the stroller! The walk is very nice and pleasant.
This family friendly, Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel features over-sized guest rooms and connecting suites which make it perfect for family trips, with mom and dad getting separate rooms from the kids, each with massive 55-inch smart TVs. In addition, there’s a Concierge Desk offering the latest scoop on visiting Disneyland and exclusive discounts on other theme parks and attractions in the area. The high-floor city view rooms even have great views of the Disneyland fireworks, and there’s even a pool for the whole family to enjoy.
The hotel’s Executive Chef, Dave Dulkis, is always making his menu better, and he often challenges his team to a friendly contest to reinvent each dish, making it even better than it was before. The nFuse Bar and Kitchen feature local cuisine fused with cultural influences from around the world, and the Bar offers a great selection of California micro brews, excellent wines, and hand-crafted cocktails. It even has 60 Bourbons and Japanese whiskey. Fancy!
While families will love the proximity of Anaheim Marriott to Disneyland, business travelers will be equally impressed with the hotel’s short distance to the Anaheim Convention Center. The hotel is also a popular meeting and conference destination for Southern California. Unlike other spaces, their meeting space is all on one level, and they pride themselves on providing great food and beverages for groups.
My Experience at the Anaheim Marriott
I walked through the doors to the hotel, and I was blown away by the huge, gorgeous lobby. It had a massive amount of seating space and areas to sit and relax or work on my laptop, which I LOVE. In addition, the proximity to Disneyland that I mentioned earlier was fantastic because I didn’t have to worry about transportation. It was also SUPER close to tons of dining and shopping options. I also enjoyed having a coffee at their on-site Starbucks and a little pizza from their on-site Pizza Hut!
The food at Nfuse Restaurant was some of the best I’ve ever had, allowing me to enjoy some extremely fine dining right there at the hotel. I also loved that the elevator featured the ability to choose your floor on keyboards outside the elevator with NO BUTTONS. And the wait time was minimal. I really love that because, as we all know, the elevator wait time feels the longest of anything you’ll ever wait for. LOL.
From the elevator, it was a short walk to my room, which had an absolutely phenomenal view of the front street, which allowed me to see all the campers and another crazy fandom of the Expo early in the morning. I was even able to get in an early morning workout at the fitness center, which was very well appointed with equipment.
The Anaheim Marriott really exceeded my expectations! It is the perfect hub for any family or business trip to the area. With close proximity to Disneyland, the convention center, fine dining, shopping, and more, Anaheim Marriott is THE place to stay if you’re in the southern California area. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and I can’t wait to get back!
