They’re kicking off the vibes to get rid of this summer heat with a fun Christmas in July movie! “Crashing Through the Snow” is part of the Christmas In July programming that will air on Saturday, July 10th at 9 pm/8c. This is one Christmas Hallmark original that you don’t want to miss.

One of the ways that I stay cool during the summer heat is I stay inside and relax in the AC. So it just makes sense that I’ve marked ALL the Hallmark Christmas movies so I can put up my feet and relax.

What Is Hallmark’s Crashing In The Snow About?

Maggie and Sam are crashing Christmas. When he proposes they team up against his sister’s perfect Christmas, neither of them is prepared for the blended family challenges that lie ahead. Oh boy!

According to the synopsis, Maggie (Acker) and her ex-husband, Jeff (Kristian Bruun, “Orphan Black”), have always been friends first. When Jeff’s new girlfriend, Kate (Brooke Nevin, spontaneously invites Maggie along on their Christmas getaway in Aspen, she jumps at the chance to spend the holiday away with her two daughters.

Maggie feels like a third wheel crashing their Christmas but she’s not alone for long as Kate’s hapless brother, Sam (Christie), shows up unannounced with a plan. Always seeming to live in Kate’s shadow, Sam wants to put an end to that trend.

He convinces Maggie that together, they can help give her daughters their best Christmas ever. But neither of them is adequately prepared for the blended family challenges that lie ahead – or the feelings they develop for one another.
